FERRARI FINISH SEASON IN STYLE

 Ferrari completed their 2002 season in style as Michael Schumacher led home Rubens Barrichello for another scarlet one-two in Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.

Jordan were celebrating too as Takuma Sato took fifth place in his home race to score his first championship points. It lifted the team above BAR and Jaguar to sixth in the constructors' standings.

WILLIAMS WOULD ACCEPT WEIGHT PENALTIES

Williams would be willing to accept weight penalties next season in the interests of the sport.

Technical director Patrick Head says he will not vote in favour of the proposal and does not even like the idea but would "live with it" if necessary.

PETRONAS JOINS GROWING LIST OF FUEL SUPPLIERS

Malaysia's national oil and gas corporation, Petronas, announced that it is currently developing its own Formula One™ fuel for the Sauber cars in the 2003 FIA Formula One World Championship™.

The programme was initiated in January 2002 with five of its own fuel engineers working intensively in collaboration with their colleagues at Sauber Petronas Engineering.
